Over 73 days, he logged over 12,000 miles. Hobbs used solely roll charts for navigation and didn’t actually have a GPS as a backup, and he camped on the path practically each night time. Hobbs is a passionate off-road rider. He didn’t begin driving bikes till he was 30, and he has competed within the Baja 1000, the Crimson Bull Romaniacs laborious enduro, and the Idaho Metropolis 100 ISDE qualifier – and he’s accomplished every race twice.
